Brushes vs. Breeds

First of all thanks to everyone thats visited my site these past few days, i guess my add in facebook really worked!!
Someone asked me to paint a brush for them to use daily with there dog, and didnt know which was the best. I personally would recomend for anyone to first investigate what is the type of brush and lenght of pins used for you breed of dog in web sites and with dog handlers and groomers. Every breed, just like snow flakes, is diferent and needs diferent tending. You can buy and excelente brush but if its not the one for your dog you could probably break to much hair in combing process.
Dogs like yorkies, shih-tzu, maltese, need medium sizes brushes with soft long pins. While other breeds might need shorter pins and larger brushes like rottweilers and boxers.
Also after you know which is the best for you, you can check for the diferent handles. Some may be more confortable for you than others. Remember, there is a good way and a bad way to comb the hair, so be carefull and investigate somemore.
Tip: Never use brushes with little balls in the pins because they tend to break the hair in long-haired breeds. If you need to eliminate tangles, its better to use oils or conditioners and apply directly to the not and try to make it lose with your hands. Some hair will be lost, but not as much as if you cut it.
